Warranty Terms

  • Pierre Cardin Yatak products are under warranty for 2 years with all parts (except Home Textiles).
  1. Discounted or demonstration samples (“demos”, “display products”, “outlet products”, “end-of-series products”, “defective products”) are not covered by the warranty.
  • The warranty period starts on the date the product is delivered to the customer without any problems. The warranty start date is included in the warranty documents delivered to you. Please make sure that the warranty document is delivered to you certified.
  • The warranty period of the product and spare parts replaced under warranty is limited to the warranty period of the product sold.
  • When the products need to be repaired due to production, installation, transportation errors within the warranty period, all operations are carried out free of charge by Authorized Technical Services or dealers. In case of usage error, no free of charge operation is performed.
  • The warranty certificate or invoice of the product must be presented to the authorized service in order to be treated free of charge under warranty.
  • Sellers, dealers or agents are responsible for ensuring that the warranty certificate is given to the consumer in an approved form and for proving that this obligation is fulfilled.
  • All parts of the goods, including all parts, are covered by the warranty.
  • If it is understood that the goods are defective, the consumer may apply to the Consumer

Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of;

> Revocation of contract,

> Asking for a discount on the sale price,

> Request free repair,

> It can use one of the rights to request the replacement of the sold product with a defect-free equivalent.

  • If the consumer chooses the right to free repair from these rights, the seller is obliged to repair or have the goods repaired without any charge under the name of labor cost, replacement part cost or any other name. The consumer may also exercise the right to free repair against the manufacturer or importer.
  • The seller, manufacturer and importer are jointly and severally liable for the exercise of this right by the consumer.

If the consumer exercises the right to free repair, the goods;

> Re-failure within the warranty period,

> Exceeding the maximum time required for repair,

> In the event that it is determined by the authorized service station, seller, manufacturer or importer with a report that it is not possible to repair; the consumer may request from the seller the return of the goods, the price reduction in proportion to the defect or, if possible, the replacement of the goods with a defect-free equivalent. The seller cannot refuse the consumer’s request.

In case this request is not fulfilled, the seller, manufacturer and importer are jointly and severally liable.

  • According to the Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection, the repair period of the goods cannot exceed 20 working days. This period starts on the date of notification of the malfunction of the goods to the authorized service station or the seller within the warranty period, and outside the warranty period, from the date of delivery of the goods to the authorized service station.
  • Malfunctions arising from the use of the goods contrary to the points in the user manual are not covered by the warranty.
  • The consumer may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee or the Consumer Court in the place where the consumer has his/her place of residence or where the consumer transaction is made in case of disputes that may arise regarding the exercise of his/her rights arising from the warranty.
  • If the seller fails to provide this warranty certificate, the consumer may apply to the General Directorate of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance of the Ministry of Customs and Trade.
